It is recommended that when applying changes to less than 10 listings, you wait at least 5 seconds before applying the next modifications in order to give time to the API to synchronize the changes.

Free Version: There is a limit of 1 account.
PRO Version: Up to 2 different accounts.
How many listings can be modified at a time?
There is no limit to the number of listings that can modified at a time. MercadoTools has been tested to work with over 3000 at a time.
I cannot login with my MercadoLibre account
This can happen for a few reasons: MercadoLibre authentication server is not working at the moment, or you have exceeded the number of accounts allowed for your version.
What are the Data Savings and Energy Saving Settings?
These options are only available on the PRO version.
Data Savings: When this is enabled, MercadoTools will only load images if they are cached on memory or disk, otherwise a placeholder image will be shown; additionally, it will reduce some of the keepalive API calls.
Energy Savings: When this is enabled, MercadoTools will remove the loading of all extra information on items as well as reduce the usage of assets. Please note that when Energy Savings is enabled, the stop modifications option is disabled.
Can I add more than 1 image at a time to my descriptions?
This can be done if you add the HTML code for the images; nevertheless, if you only use the Image URLs you would need to add one at a time.
Any other limitations I should be aware of?
The application has the same limitations as MercadoLibre, that is to say you can only add one video to a listing and the price and quantity have to be at least 1, etc.
Removing HTML characters is not returning accurate results
The reason behind this is that when you remove characters from your description it will remove them from the HTML code. For example, if you want to remove 5 characters from the text: "Hello World",
the code might look like this: "<div><p>Hello World</p></div>" which will result on 5 characters only removing "</div>" instead of the word "World".
What is OCR on Mobile Optimization and when to use it?
The OCR feature will allow users to extract the text from their images in their HTML descriptions and add them to their Plain Text Description. It is recommended you only use it if your images
contain text since there is a limit of 100 images to be processed only (any type of image whether it contains text or not).

Is there a limit to the number of modifications I can do per day?
While MercadoTools does not have any limitations, MercadoLibre API might reserve the right to not serve every request if overloaded.
Can I rollback my modification after applying them?
This is not possible since MercadoTools does not save the state of each item before applying the requested changes. Nevertheless, in case of an error you have option
to stop the modifications immediately.
What can I do when the modifications return errors?
If the error is caused because the API is busy or something similar then you can retry applying the changes on the items that failed. However, if the errors ocurred
for a different reason such as the item is closed/has sales or other similar issues then there is not a retry option.
According to MercadoTools the modifications are done, but I cannot see the changes in MercadoLibre
There might be some delay between the API accepting the changes, and the changes being displayed on the website. It usually takes less than 1 minute.
Can I create listings with this application?
MercadoTools does not have the functionality to create listings since creating the same listings in bulks is not recommended by MercadoLibre.
My device hangs/throws an exception when trying to modify several items
This might occur when your device cannot handle the selected processing speed, to solve this reduce the processing speed under settings.
Why is there a speed limit of 20x?
After several testing most devices will only perform as fast as 10x even when selecting 20x since the OS will limit the resources the application can use. Modern devices can be capable of 20x speeds; nevertheless, anything over that would just waste battery charge.
